Flights and Transfers.

We fly our groups from the UK to Sharm El Sheik, upon arrival in Sharm the resort transfer staff take care of all transfers to and from the resort.

Chaperone.

All groups are accompanied by members of the school's teaching staff and by our staff from the moment you meet us at the airport to provide constant 24 hour support. < BACK.

The Resort.

The resort of Sharks Bay is a self contained dive resort with a well-equipped dive centre, its own private jetty and a fleet of five boats. There is also a restaurant, beach bar and a full range of water sports. The accommodation is an individually styled Bedouin village Built from natural materials, these rooms are integrated into the cliff side above the bay and all have direct sea views, most with balconies.
The private beach has stunning views of Tiran Island as well as a beautiful house-reef with excellent conditions for divers, snorkellers and swimmers alike. It is one of the few places in the area where there is a beach with a “walk in” sea with abundant coral. Learning to dive is a pleasure here, helped enormously by the restricted roped-off training area which provides a safe confined area perfect for taking your first breaths underwater. < BACK.

Accommodation and Food.

Accommodation is in newly completed rooms with 2 sharing, integrated into the hillside at the back of Sharks Bay, overlooking the bay and all have superb views across the sea to Tiran Island. Built in the Bedouin style, each room has a slightly different layout and many have high domed ceilings designed to provide natural ventilation - cool in the summer and warm in the winter
Every room has air-conditioning, en-suite facilities, mini-fridge, television and telephone and most of the rooms have a private balcony.
Inclusive of this is all food and drinks, and any dietary requests can be catered for. < BACK.

The Course.

This is what it is all about the PADI ‘Open Water Diver course’ is the most popular dive program in the world! This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure with PADI, the dive company that sets the standards in the global diving community.
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional anywhere in the world.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving; including dive equipment, handling, and every technique you will need to dive in open water. You earn this qualification by completing five confined water dives, five knowledge development sessions, a final exam, and by making four open water dives with your instructor to demonstrate the skills you have acquired. This all takes between 4-5 days. < BACK.
Full Equipment rental is included in your stay; wetsuit, BCD, regulators, mask, fins, snorkel, cylinder, and air fills.

The course should take 4 days, the 5th day is provided as a remedial day (if you need it) or as a day to dive some more of the sites with your instructor and just enjoy being a qualified diver.

It is recommended that students have their own insurance. DAN (divers alert network) provide travel and diving insurance for sport divers at very good rates.
